Registration of those who are interested in working in the 2010 Population, Housing and Establishments Census continues. Registration started in April 2009 on the Occupational Day celebration at the Exhibitions Center.
Registration continues at the Statistics Authority's building.
Following are the conditions to apply for work in the census:
1.To fill in the special census registration form.
2.A personal photograph.
3.3- A copy of the applicant's driving license, if any.
The census will be in need of 3,000 individuals for field work participating in the following activities:
•Inspection stage in which buildings are assigned numbers and the data are recorded.
•Monitoring stage in which the data on residential units, households and establishments are to be collected
•Population counting in which data on individuals are to be collected.
The above stages are to be simultaneously conducted with field work stages at the Communications Center, which is to communicate with and respond to the public and the Data Review Center whose task is to review data daily and encode nationalities, occupations, economic activity and education, using the latest Qatari classification categories derived from international classifications.
Registration in the census is to continue up to 1 April 2010.
