Press Release Monthly Producer Price Index of Industrial Sector May 2024 (Base year 2018=100)

03/07/2024 | The National Planning Council has released the new Monthly Producer Price Index (PPI) of the Industrial sector for May 2024, which calculated based on 2018. Therefor the relatives of the main four industry sectors become as follow: “Mining” (weight: 82.46%), “Manufacturing” (weight: 15.85%), “Electricity” (weight: 1.16%), and “Water” (weight: 0.53%).

Press Release Consumer Price Index May 2024 (Base year 2018=100)

15/06/2024 | The National Planning Council has released the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the month of May 2024. The CPI of May 2024 reached 107.59 points showing an increase of 0.44% when compared to CPI of April 2024. Compared to CPI of May 2023, [Y-o-Y] basis, an increase of 0.93% has been recorded in the general index (CPI) of this month.

Qatar Foreign Merchandise Trade Surplus was QR 17.4 billion of the State of Qatar, April 2024

14/06/2024 | In April 2024, the total exports of goods (including exports of goods of domestic origin and re-exports) amounted to around QR 27.5 billion, showing a decrease of 10.5% compared to April 2023, and a decrease of 3.6% compared to March 2024.
