HH the Heir Apparent chairs Supreme Committee for Development Planning meeting

HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani chaired Wednesday the second meeting of the Supreme Committee for Development Planning for 2013. The meeting, held at the Emiri Diwan this morning, reviewed the progress of implementation of the National Development Strategy 2011-2016 in accordance with the Qatar National Vision 2030, the development of strategic planning policies in ministries and government agencies, and the preparation of development plans and coordination between them. The meeting also assessed the Strategy accomplishments in achieving sustainable economic boom in the country, and promoting human and social development; as well as the modernization and development of the public sector institutions, and took a number of necessary decisions and recommendations in this regard.
