The National Planning Council released its monthly preliminary figures on population as of 30 June 2024.
These data represents the number of persons all ages (Qataris and Non-Qataris) within the boundaries of the State of Qatar as of 30 June 2024..
It does not include:
- Qatari nationals who were outside the State boundaries on 30 June 2024.
- Non-Qataris with residency permits who were outside the
states boundaries 30 June 2024.
Note : This figure will be updated on a monthly basis.
The population of the State of Qatar at the end of June 2024 reached about (2,858,000) people, a monthly decrease of 7.2% compared to last May, and a yearly increase of 7.6% over June 2023.
