The National Planning Council released its monthly preliminary figures on population as of 31 August 2024.
These data represents the number of persons all ages (Qataris and Non-Qataris) within the boundaries of the State of Qatar as of 31 August 2024..
It does not include:
- Qatari nationals who were outside the State boundaries on 31 August 2024.
- Non-Qataris with residency permits who were outside the
states boundaries 31 August 2024.
Note : This figure will be updated on a monthly basis.
The population of the State of Qatar at the end of August 2024 reached about (3,054,000) people, a monthly increase of 9.6% compared to last July, and a yearly increase of 2.9% over August 2023.
