(394,891) Total Number of e-Service Transactions Through Qatar e-government "Hukoomi" During February 2016

​The Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics has released the 26th  edition of (Qatar; Monthly Statistics) which is released on a monthly basis to highlight detailed statistics on State of Qatar recorded during the period February 2016 in addition to glance from 2015 census.

 
The most-highlighted statistical variable in this edition is the number of e-Service transactions done through Qatar e-government "Hukoomi" During February 2016 amounted to 394,891 transaction with annual increase of 20% compared to February 2015 having the vale equal to 328,734 transactions.
On the other hand,  the demographic statistics within bulletin shows that Qatar’s population  has reached 2,546 million in February 2016, an annual increase of 9.1% as the population attained 2,334 million in February 2015, with total of 1,965  births during  February 2016 and total of 185 deaths during the same period.

 
The bulletin also pointed out that the movement in Hamad International Airport on  the overall performed maintained a high levels of activity during February 2016,  in terms of Arriving passengers ( includes transits and transfers ) the total was 1,408.636 passengers with a annual increase of 9.7% , including 152,200 visitors to the State of Qatar from different regions during February 2016 .

The bulletin also highlights the number of vehicles registered  in February 2016 which was  recorded to be 8,259 compared to 8,767 during January 2015, with a monthly decrease amounting to 5.8%. Traffic violations amounted to 142,031 in February 2016, with a monthly increase amounting to 8.8% compared to January 2016. 
Total broad money supply (M2) recorded about 505 Billion Riyals during the month of February 2016 showing a monthly increase  of 0.01 % compared to January 2015. Similarly cash equivalents; includes deposits  decreased by 0.3 % during February 2016 in comparison with January 2016, as it recorded about 639 Billion Riyals. In contrast, Total broad money supply (M2) recorded a negative year-on-year change of 2.48%, while cash equivalents; includes deposits, recorded a positive year-on-year change of 9.1%.
