Qatar has achieved an advanced ranking in the World Talent Ranking Report 2019 issued by the International Competitiveness Center of the Institute of Administrative Development in Switzerland, as the State of Qatar has ranked the first in the Arab world and the 26th globally in 2019 out of 63 countries. The regional and international performance of Qatar has led to improving its competitiveness in terms of building global and financial skills, international expertise and the educational system.

As per the ranking factors, the State of Qatar ranked (41st) this year in the Investment and Development Factor, (21st ) in the Appeal Factor, and ranked (20th) in the Readiness Factor.

In the Investment and Development Factor, Qatar has ranked (6th) in the indicator of total Gov. expenditure on education per student, and ranked (8th) in the indicator of Apprenticeships that are sufficiently implemented, and (12th) in the indicator of health infrastructure that meets the needs of society.

As for the Appeal Factor, Qatar has ranked (1st) in the indicator of the income tax rate index as a percentage equals to GDP per capita, (9th) in the indicator of foreign highly-skilled personnel attracted by the Qatari business environment, and (17th) in the indicator of Worker motivation in companies, and (18th) in the Quality of life indicator.
