HH the Deputy Emir Presides Over Development Planning Supreme Committee Meeting

 HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has presided over the 1st meeting of the Qatar's Supreme Committee for Development Planning for 2013. The meeting, held at the Emiri Diwan this morning, showcased achievements in the implementation of the Qatar National Development Strategy 2011-2016 in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to create 'Qatar of the future' and lay the foundation for lasting development in the country through the roles assigned to different State bodies in the preparation, implementation and assessment of the Strategy's development.The meeting also discussed challenges and difficulties in the implementation of the Strategy, reaching a number of decisions to address them.
